The Way We Worship God
Why do we worship God?
"Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only." (Mat 4:10, Ps95, Rev 15:4)
How Should we Worship God?
"God is a spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth." (Jn 4:23, 24, Ps 96:9)
Why do we shout and rejoice?
"Rejoice greatly, O Daughter of Zion! Shout, Daughter of Jerusalem!" (Zechariah 9:9a)
Why do we lift our hands?
"Lift your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord." (Ps 63:4, 1Tim 2:8)
Why do we dance before the Lord?
"Let them praise Him with the dance." (ps 134:2, Ps 150:4)
Why do we have audible praise unto God with singing?
"I will sing with the Spirit and I will sing with the understanding also." (1Cor 14:15, Ps 33:3, Ps 40:3, Heb 13:15, Rev 19:1,6)
